It’s been nearly a decade since the Carolina Hurricanes last made an appearance in the NHL postseason and their fan base is starting to get fed up with the lack of moves on a yearly basis.

Leading up to this year’s NHL trade deadline the Hurricanes found themselves sitting a few points outside the playoff picture, but rather than acquire bodies at the deadline they stayed put and fell even further out of the picture until they were officially eliminated from playoff contention for the eighth straight season.

The fans have voiced their displeasure with the organization on social media all season long and now they’ve gone one step further as someone has turned the team’s Reddit page into a place to bash the team and it all starts with the page’s banner, which shows up like this when you visit the site.

From there it turns into a “ERROR 404” page and includes a quote from the team’s president of hockey operations and former general manager Ron Francis.

The Hurricanes sit near the bottom of the league in average attendance, so hopefully they make some significant moves soon or the NHL might have to consider making that move back to Hartford to let them host a game or two.
