The New York Islanders will host the Florida Panthers on Monday night for their final meeting of the season and the Isles have something planned for the visitors and fans back in Florida.

The Islanders are dedicating Monday’s game to something that’s much bigger than hockey as they’ll donate 100% of the proceeds from the game towards the Broward Education Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping students achieve their highest potential, as well as to the victims from the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and their families.

This is an incredible, classy gesture by the Islanders organization and it’s something that the Florida Panthers organization truly appreciates.

Hopefully plenty of Islanders fans come out in full force on Monday night and pack as many seats as possible.
