Eddie Lack’s NHL career got off to a pretty good start with the Vancouver Canucks, but his time with the Carolina Hurricanes didn’t go as planned.

After posting a 34-30-9 record with a .917 save percentage and 2.43 goals against average in 82 games with the Canucks, Lack went on to post a 20-21-9 record in 54 games with the Hurricanes, along with a .902 save percentage and 2.75 goals against average and a brief stop in the AHL with the Charlotte Checkers.

Now, Lack is looking to bounce back with the Calgary Flames and is putting in some serious work this offseason in hopes of being more than just Mike Smith’s backup goalie. On Thursday, the 29-year-old was working out at the NET 360 goalie camp in West Kelowna, B.C., with some other NHL players and he pulled off his best Dominik Hasek impression to rob Winnipeg Jets defenceman Tyler Myers.

It might just be an offseason workout, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t completely rob Myers on the play. Even Florida Panthers goalie James Reimer was blown away by the save, as you can hear him shout immediately after Lack makes the save.

Last week, Lack unveiled his new pads he’s going to rock next season and he went with a Trevor Kidd-inspired design.

You can bet he’s just itching to hit the ice with his new team to show them what he’s been up to.
