The Pittsburgh Penguins and the Philadelphia Flyers will go head-to-head at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday night so they used Friday night to break in the new ice surface that was installed inside the home of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Outdoor games usually tend to bring out the little kid in almost every player and we certainly saw that during the Penguins’ practice. After everything was all said and done, Matt Murray and Bryan Rust decided to switch things up and gave each other’s position a shot.

The Penguins won’t ever turn to Rust in between the pipes, but at least they know they have a secret weapon on their roster who might be able to fill in as an emergency goalie.

Before practice, the Penguins took advantage of the fresh ice surface and posed for a team photo in their special edition Stadium Series uniforms.
