Another NHL trade deadline and has come and gone and plenty of players are on the move. However, the man who was atop the TSN trade bait board leading up to #TradeCentre is staying put in Ottawa.

A lot of Senators fans were extremely nervous leading up to the deadline as there was a possibility that their team would be moving forward without their superstar defenceman, but they can breathe a little easier, at least for now, as Karlsson will finish the season in a Sens jersey.

Once 3pm EST rolled around, general managers across the league met with the media to discuss the moves, or lack of, and Senators general manager Pierre Dorion shared some interesting information about some of the things he dealt with leading up to the deal.

Before wrapping up his answer, Dorion mentioned that he ended up with a nail in one of his car tires earlier this week but brushed it off by saying he doesn't think it happened because of the Karlsson trade rumors.

However, Sens fans will probably disagree with Dorion and there's probably a bunch of them taking credit for the nail while you're reading this.
