Snoop Dogg is one person who came to the defence of Kawhi Leonard multiple times when things got rocky with the San Antonio Spurs, and he stood up for the two-time NBA champion multiple times during the Toronto Raptors’ championship run whenever analysts would doubt him.
With that being said, as much as Snoop Dogg enjoyed watching Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors come out on top, he’s hoping Kawhi Leonard leaves Toronto and joins his Los Angeles Lakers.
Earlier this week Snoop just so happened to be in Toronto. During his trip he came across a company’s promotion to keep Kawhi in Toronto and here’s his response to that ad.
“So I’m riding through Toronto and I see this vehicle pass me by and I’m reading the side of the vehicle, ‘wishful thinking’. Yeah right, wish Kawhi Leonard will come play for the Lakers. That’s what I wish. Yea this Snoop Dogg.”
We doubt Snoop Dogg’s video will have any influence on Kawhi Leonard’s decision, but it doesn’t hurt to have multiple celebrities trying to win you over to come join their team.
