The Philadelphia Flyers are a team that has underachieved for the past couple of years and if you asked 100 people why, 99 would say their goaltending.
They are a talented team up front and their young blue line is surprisingly talented, but they have just been a revolving door of goaltenders since Ron Hextall left in the 90s. Everyone is hoping that Carter Hart is their answer between the pipes, but it appears as if the Flyers are still having trust issues.
They’re just trying to block every shot.
Honestly, we’re pretty sure the answer has been staring them in the face the entire time.
Gritty for goalie. We’re pretty sure his gut could cover the same amount of space that these four shot blockers did and his eyes will strike fear into any shooter that tries to pick a corner. So, either lay your entire team infront of the net or use the mascot.
