Free agency season in the NHL is officially upon us, and it’s off to a hot start.
There were a few acquisitions today that definitely raised some eyebrows, but there are still quite a few unrestricted free agents whose futures remain up in the air as of now.
The majority of these talented players definitely have multiple options on the table, which will saddle them with tough decisions that will not only affect their career as players, but also where their families will spend the upcoming year and beyond.
Brian Boyle, who was acquired by the Nashville Predators from the New Jersey Devils last season, is one of those players. In order to help him make his decision, Boyle called in the big guns, and took to Twitter to share a sweet photo of the serious negotiation.
We think his son’s input is definitely some of the most important, but that didn’t stop Twitter users from chiming in and adding their two cents about where they think Boyle should go.
It remains to be seen where Boyle ends up for the upcoming season, but wherever that may be, we know for certain he had some solid advice that lead to the decision.
