A new movement in sports started when LeBron James announced he was leaving Cleveland taking his talents to South Beach as loyal fans took their beloved jerseys and set them on fire and it doesn’t look like it’s going to end anytime soon.

We saw fans burn Gordon Hayward's jersey and Kyrie Irving’s jersey when they signed with the Boston Celtics and now Islanders fans are following in their footsteps. Shortly after John Tavares announced he’s heading home to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Isles fans reacted to the news by setting their Tavares merchandise on fire.

They didn’t all burn merchandise, though, as one fan took out all his anger and feelings of betrayal on his John Tavares bobblehead.

However, not all Islanders fans turned on Tavares for his decision as one of them added a twist to the ending of his video.

You can’t blame Isles fans for being so upset about Tavares leaving town, but burning his merchandise and cursing him out is a bit much.
