Jackets cannon operator does the "Best Mates" dance made popular in Fortnite after Atkinson's goal

Another day, another Fortnite celebration.

During Saturday night’s Blue Jackets and Blues game, Cam Atkinson scored the Jackets only goal in their 2-1 loss to the red-hot St. Louis Blues.

After the goal, the Fox Sports Ohio broadcast cut to the Blue Jackets cannon guy, where he did the signature “Best Mates” dance made popular by the video game.

 

Not bad, not bad at all.

The game has made it mark in the sports world, with several players like Mitch Marner, Auston Matthews, Patrik Laine, Gordon Hayward, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Brock Boeser, J.T. Brown, as well as a couple teams getting in on the action.

Last week, a Blue Jackets fan whipped out a pretty epic sign that took a shot at Nathan MacKinnon's Fortnite skills. 

As the game continues to gain popularity, we’re only going to see more and more of these types of videos and reactions.
