The Nashville Predators have been rolling along all season long, but their win over the Edmonton Oilers last week wasn’t an ordinary victory.

With the 4-2 defeat over the Oilers in Edmonton, Preds general manager David Poile picked up his 1,320th career win to become the winningest general manager in the history of the NHL.

Although the Preds returned home from a four-game road trip on Tuesday night, the team saved the special ceremony for Poile for Thursday night against the Anaheim Ducks, where they honoured him ahead of puck drop.

Every fan in attendance also received a David Poile poster honouring his historic accomplishment.

The Nashville Predators have come a very long way over the past few years and they Poile to thank for everything.
