Training puppies to become future assistance dogs became a trend in the NHL this past season and we’re all for it.

From the New York Rangers to the St. Louis Blues, teams across the league got in on the action and they’re not done yet. Recently, the San Jose Sharks got in on the trend and on Tuesday afternoon they officially introduced the newest member of the team, Finn.

Finn is only a couple of months old as he was born on May 10, 2019, and will be part of the Sharks organization for the next two years as he trains to become an assistance dog through Canine Companions for Independence.

The Sharks also went ahead and created a scouting report for their newest teammate.

Expect to see Finn around the Shark Tank next season if you’re a Sharks fan.
