DeMar DeRozan is going to have some company at the NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles next month.
On Tuesday evening, the NBA confirmed that Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry will be joining DeRozan at the NBA All-Star Game as an Eastern Conference reserve.
Shortly after the announcement was made, DeRozan showed some love for his Raptors teammate with a post on his Instagram story.
Earlier in the day, DeRozan and head coach Dwane Casey spoke to the media at the team’s practice and mentioned that Lowry deserved to be a member of the All-Star team and the league agreed.
Both Lowry and DeRozan will be appearing in their fourth career NBA All-Star Game next month, while DeRozan will be starting for the second consecutive season.
