Fans and players across the NHL have shown support for Philadelphia Flyers forward Oskar Lindblom during his fight with cancer and the support continues to grow day after day.

This upcoming weekend, the Philadelphia Flyers will be in Arizona for a tilt with the Coyotes and the hosts have something special planned for their second of two meetings this season.

According to Philadelphia Inquirer Flyers beat writer Sam Carchidi, the Coyotes players have placed an order for Oskar Strong shirts, which they’ll wear under their jerseys on Saturday night when the Flyers visit.

The Devils and the Rangers are two other teams who have recently shown support for Lindblom by sharing photos of themselves in their Oskar Strong shirts.

A reminder that some things are bigger than sports.
