It’s been just under two weeks since Oskar Lindblom was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma and fans and players across the league continue to step up and show their support for the Philadelphia Flyers forward.

On Monday night, the Flyers hosted the New York Rangers and every sports fan knows that New York-based teams and Philadelphia-based teams just don’t get along, regardless of the sport. However, the Rangers put their differences aside before the game and reminded everyone that some things are bigger than hockey with one simple photo.

Rangers forward Mika Zibanejad posted a photo on his Instagram account of himself standing alongside fellow Rangers Jesper Fast, Tony DeAngelo, Chris Kreider, Ryan Strome and Brady Skjei, and they were all rocking an ‘Oskar Strong’ shirt.

Some things truly are bigger than hockey.
