A lot of basketball fans would consider Patrick Beverley to be one of the better defenders in the NBA. If you’re one of those people you’ve been fooled, according to Russell Westbrook.
On Wednesday night the Houston Rockets picked up a 102-93 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers and Beverley was held to just six points, two rebounds and one assist in the loss. After the game, Russell Westbrook spoke to the media and called out the Clippers’ guard in a pretty hilarious way.
According to Westbrook, Beverley has been fooling everyone around the league into thinking he’s an elite defender when he’s really just running around doing nothing.
Westbrook finished the game with 17 points in 29:36, while James Harden dropped 47 points in 44:27.
