The Atlanta Braves opened up a two-game series with the Philadelphia Phillies at home on Tuesday night and were forced to make a last-second change to their lineup for one of the wildest reasons.

As the Braves players took the field to start the game, shortstop Johan Camargo ended up tripping over his own feet as he got towards the first base line and the outcome wasn’t pretty.

It turns out the 23-year-old rookie suffered a pretty nasty injury during his fall, as the team announced he suffered a hyper-extended right knee before the game.

You never want to see a player get hurt, especially when it’s a freak injury like this one.

Camargo was replaced by Jace Peterson and will be further evaluated this week.
